Growing Great Administrators is SBMAT’s professional growth strategy that puts developing and maintaining the highest quality of administrative support at the forefront of maintaining modern schools. It focuses on a genuinely continuous professional development process. (policy below). There is a clear course for administrators to follow if they wish to develop into Office Managers, School Business Managers or beyond to CFO.

Administrator is an exciting and diverse career path and Severn Bridges is there to support staff in developing their skills and offering opportunities to further their career as administrative assistant, administrators and School Business Managers.
Apprenticeships
The Trust is committed to supporting apprentices in administrative roles and enabling them to develop into the office staff of the future. Training and development is offered across the schools in the Trust.
Career Bridge
The Trust schools contribute to create a Trust 'bursary fund’ called our Career Bridge. This enables us to facilitate participation in specialised CPD for administrators and also allows all staff to access additional career development in areas such as: NVQs, certificates and diplomas and many other areas.
